My baby "Twistie", died in my arms this morning, she was 15 1/2 years old and was suffering from Cancer. She must have known as we had her booked into the vet for later today to give her the needle.
I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your furchild. But I can think of no nicer way of letting her go than holding her.... As a previous blogger said, she knew she was loved. It may be odd, but I believe we'll be reunited somehow, some way with ALL our family members, whether they have 2 or 4 legs! Hugs to you, Cathy K
Have just discovered your blog and your gorgeous stitching. I was so saddened by the loss of Twistie (a poodle?). I have 2 myself and my oldest is 16.1/2 - Cherie and Lilly is 6 - both Apricot. Cherie still has heaps of spirit and energy and can only imagine how sad it would have been to lose Twistie - hope the passing of time is helping. x Suzy
